Tri-Loom

Learn to Weave on the Mini Tri Loom

Barney Terrell will be giving two more workshops at Rose Path this year on Saturdays, July 21 and Sept 29, 10AM - 2PM.  The fun thing about the Mini Tri-loom is the handy size. It's just 30" wide, which allows you to finish pieces quickly while learning the basics of Tri-Loom weaving. This method requires no warping and is made from one continuous strand of yarn. The cost of this workshop is $25 and yarn is not included. Call 903-882-3234 to sign up. Space is limited.

Here is Carmen working on the Mini Tri-Loom using Noro Silk Garden yarn. The colors are self-changing on the skein.

And this wonderful yummy shawl was made from homespun Shetland wool. The triangles are simply crocheted together and fringe is added to the ends.

And here's another Midge Jackson design that is made out of just 4 small triangles. She used a varigated yarn and mixed in novelty strands for a little extra bling.

And here is one of our favorite shawls hand-woven on the 7' tri-loom with yarn from Henry's Attic. Once you learn how to do it on the mini tri-loom you can try your skills on a bigger project.

The edge stitch was done with bulky yarn from Brown Sheep.

We love the rustic look and soft texture of this yarn.
